I have a 1999 ford explorer the anti theft light is flashing fast, does anyone think that this could stop car from starting?
The battery is not dead changed fuel pump, fuel filter ,checked coil , did tune up but still like it is not getting enough spark

no its a tiny led light, you would have to not start your car for atleast 4-12 months considering cold weather and other factors that kill a battery

are you having a problem starting it?...if when your turning the key and the engine is cranking and the light is flashing quicker than normal then yes its a key problem or and anti theft concern,if you see the light flash every few seconds while setting there then no,that's normal and a visual deterrent

Noo I really wouldent worry about it if they put it in their like that they woulda taking that into consideration if it would kill the battery or not but if ur to worryed about it go buy a optima red top battery although it would be a complete wast of money but just saying if it makes u feel better about it
