Anti-Mosquito II for S60

Okay. From my understanding, this software is old, but I'm going down to Florida next month and mosquitos love me!!! And I hear that there are a ton of mosquitos in Florida and if this is true, I'm screwed.

Has anyone tried this software? Does it really work? I have a Nokia 3650. I can't really find any reviews online. If you can share your experience, I'd so greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

It's a software that is supposed to cause your phone's speaker to emit a sound at such a high frequency that it drives mosquitos away.

I did see those reviews on that page. Thanks. The only problem though was that it seemed as though very few of those people had actually tried the software, but instead just came there to laugh at the idea.

Anyone else had any firsthand experience with the software? Thanks.

Go ahead and use the trial! Please report back.

But, I'm betting this software is worse than sewage water. If it wasn't, there would be a market segment already developed, and not just for cell phones.

Spend your $6 on this Off insect repellant with DEET. I can absolutely confirm for you that it works (tested all over OK, TX, AK, and LA). I work outside in all kinds of climates and weather and the mosquitoes will literally dive into about 18-24 inches away, and then fly elsewhere, almost like they hit an invisible wall. FWIW, I hardly ever spray this onto exposed skin, save for my forearms (occasionally). Almost always onto exterior clothing, or around the openings (sleeves, pants legs, etc.).
 
i like the mosquito ringtone. it's a really high pitched, constant noise that older people usually can't hear. great if your phone goes off in class.
 
I tried this on my 6682 way back.. though I did not use it against mosquitoes.. the application screamed real high as soon I opened it!! So may be it works!
