The only native land life in Antarctica is some moss and a few bugs. There are whales and penguins and such, but they live in the sea or on floating ice mostly.

Check out the antarctic connection link I've credited. Lots of kinds of birds (17 kinds of penguins and many others) and seals (6 kinds). Once you select a species you get lots of information including a quick facts list on the left that specifies their diet.
The UK antarctic link includes some great info on land animals as well.
Hopefully this will help you do your research.
I looked at some sediment on Friday from the ocean just off of Antarctica and saw a nice diversity of invertebrates : polychaetes (marine worms), sponges, a pycnogonid (sea spider) and probably lots of others but I only got to spend an hour on it !
