How is harajuku(gyaru, lolita, decora, etc.) fashion viewed in japan?
the only some what similar 'odd' fashions i can think of in the u.s. is emo and scene. but you know alot of americans think emo kids are weird.
so do average japanese think that that other japanese who dress gyaru, lolita, decora are weird? and is harajuku fashion prevalent in other areas of japan or just tokyo?
in my town most people just dress average t-shirt and jeans and i only see emo or punk kids rarely at the mall. so are japanese that dress eccentrically, rare in japan?
