Thanks, schragie...I do now feel that temporarily "medically withdrawing" was the best decision, at this point. I am now trying to get my conditions under control and possibly returning part-time during the either the summer or fall semester(s). How are you feeling? I hope you are doing well.

Good evening, everyone...I wanted to update everyone after yesterday's tragic news of the loss of my five month old puppy. Today's pain is almost unbearable! I spend part of the cold, early morning searching for the mother dog (of the dog that passed) and her two male puppies. One of the male puppies (Grim) came home and was whining, almost like a cry! My brother continued the search so that I could get some much needed sleep and couldn't find them. After I woke up, I went outside, and they were finally home...My husband thought that she must have went to look for "Odie" (the one that passed). I also talked to my husband and decided to "medically withdraw" from my classes this semester. I will continue part-time either this summer or next fall. It is just too much for me right now to be in severe pain and the stress of my children being sick so much. Their school is being hit hard with sick children and staff! Now, the stress from the loss of my puppy is hitting hard! I am planning on calling my doctor tomorrow and talking with her about everything that I had previously mentioned. I knew that if I called today that I would probably break down and not be able to talk...I want to thank you all for lifting me up in prayer(s) and sending your warm thoughts my way! Sincerely, Tam

My heart goes out to you - too much on your plate.
You have us here 24/7, feel free to come and vent...

Best wishes to you and family...

Thanks, Bay...I don't know if I mentioned this on the other thread, but unfortunately, my puppy was shot! We are still trying to sort out all of the details and trying to find out who did this to her...I can't believe the nerve of people! Not only did they shoot her, they caused her to have to suffer for hours, before dying...I'm sorry that this may be graphic, but I just wanted to tell you (and everyone) what happened. I apologize for being such a "downer" lately, but when times get tough like this, I have to vent and try to look on the bright side of things. Thank you all, again.

Hey Tam -- doing okay, though still dealing with a fair amount of pain and doing tons of walking and standing, which seems to relieve it for a while. Of course, stretching helps too! I miss being able to lie down on the couch without needing so many acoutrements like ice or heat, pillows, TENS unit, etc.

Glad you are okay with a temporary withdrawal from school. Sometimes you just gotta do what you just gotta do (or not do, in our cases! :(). I hope you find some time for yourself this weekend.

I'm sorry, I didnt see that on the other thread ive' been scatter brained lately. OMG, that is sickening that someone would do that, utterly disgusting! IF that was my puppy, I would have been devasted too. IT's really sickening what some people do (if you want to call them people). I soo feel for you and that poor little pup and I hope you can find out who did it, they should be punished.

I truly agree...I pray we find out what exactly happened and who is responsible. I think they should "pay" in some way for what they have done, and I don't mean with money, either. I will be sure to keep you and everyone updated!

Hey Tam,
You really have a lot going on in your life.
This may be what you need to get you and your family in a better place health wise. Did your husband have to withdraw also?
Have you found out anything about the puppy? How are you feeling this weekend?
Take care and try to have a good week-end,

Hugs,
Deb

Hello, deb...My husband will be graduating with his Bachelor's next spring, if his knees don't give out on him before then! I am upset because one of my instructors e-mailed me and told me that I have worn out her patience and time. I e-mailed her back and told her sorry, but I am going to have to medically withdraw from my spring classes. My husband is upset about her ill-mannered e-mail and is going to talk to the dean about her conduct. All of my other instructors have been very patient and helpful with my situation. I mistakingly titled my current topic "Another Update!", which is about me going by my doctor's office yesterday and about my upcoming follow-up appointment on Monday. If it is difficult to find, please let me know, and I will post those messages on this topic! My mind is a mess right now! I think I might know who shot our puppy, but then again, it could have been a couple other people that might have pulled the trigger. How are you feeling? I hope you are having a pain-free weekend!

Tam-- I'm SO sorry about the loss of your pup. Losing a pet is so devastating and losing a young one for such a reason is unbelievaby saddening. Hang in there -- It sounRAB like your decision to withdraw from school temporarily may be a wise one if it is bringing you too much stress.
