Hi , can anyone tell me the difference between photo shop cs4 extended student and regular photo shop. I heard that they were exactly the same but student is cheaper for students. As i am a student, could i scan my ID and email them. Thanks in advance.

Extended and regular Photoshop is different in general. Student versions are basically the same product just cheaper. Extended has more (like video capabilities). Look at the Adobe site and then the Photoshop Family. They tell you the differences between them. Get what you need. If it's really cheap, get the Extended. Why not?

You can get the differences on the Adobe website. I looked at them once, but forget. They have a huge long list. I know the booger is mucho expensive and you should TRY to get by with the least expensive you can tolerate.

I also know, though, that Adobe Bridge is a part that WE use regularly. Adobe calls it a photo organizer. What we use it for, is, a helper at editing time. It shows us a screen's worth of thumbnails, in a folder, from which we can double-click any photo so as to call it up in Photoshop. This is handy for us as, mi esposa is a very prolific photographer and sometimes, we may not remember the NAME of a specific photo. With the thumbnail array in bridge, we can easily find it by sight. If this would help you, then Bridge is important.

Some of the versions of Photoshop do NOT include Bridge. Choose accordingly.
