Another paint code ?

1986 VS700. I have looked around web and did search here but still with no luck. I need to repaint Tank. It's black but has a purple flake to it. Is that factory? And if so, I would appreciate any help on the code.

I believe the code is 132, as o19 was the regular black, but after 25 years the factory paint is not going to match anyways. Your best bet is to take off a frame cover or side cover and have a local PPG paint store match it. They can mix you up a pint, or some can even put it in a spray can for you. Acrylic urethane with a matching top coat, though the purple flake may be a third stage that goes in between the base coat and clear coat.

Thanks Doc. I did do that and after some time the paint came back with silver in it. I might have to have my paint guy wing the flake.
