Hello. A little background on me. I currently own a 07 Honda CBR600RR with > 20,000mi and some track experience. I'm planning to make a purchase on 1198 with the 4.99% financing option for 60 months. I'm considering trade-in also.

Do you guys think that the FastTrack promotion is better than the 4.99% APR deal? Am I going to get ripped off with trade-in? Thanks.

keep your CBR600RR as you will get ripped off. Miles are too high for an '07 they will tell you. I rented the same bike (in blue/silver) some time ago and loved it. More comfy than my '06 CBR1000RR. You will love the 1198.

Fast track is the way I would go. Can get 6.5% at my CU. Thats much less than the cool stuff you get, even if you had to pay 12%, - the diff of the 4.9% your at 7% more over, what, 5 years? I dont know your #, but would guess you would be WAY ahead with the cool stuff you get with the track stuff.

Traiding in, it always feels like your getting ripped off. If so, sell it out right.

Welcome to our thread.

Thanks for the input guys. I just found out I can join a Credit Union affiliated with my company and possibly get a 5.49 APR for motorcycle loan. I'm going to go with that route and then get the fast track freebies!

For the CBR, I'm still thinking about if I should sell it or continue using it as my daily commuter and leave the ducati as a weekend/track warrior.

Anyways I'm getting a duc for sure before 6/15. Hopefully I can get the dealer to give it to me 18,000 OTD with maintenance package (is that about right? I'm in SoCal).
