Another "Need a new phone"

Hey guys,
getting a new phone.... currently have an LG Chocolate on Fido in Canada. I absolutly HATE the reception I get on the Chocholate so i would like to switch. what would be a good phone in the 200-300 price range which has bluetooth, a decent camera/video quality, decent battery life, and most of all GOOD RECEPTION!

apart from good reception and good video quality. . those 2 aspects of it are somewhat wanting, especially the video 'quality'.

what phones are available to you (i'm not too sure if you're on a contract or if you're PAYG)?
 
He/she said decent, not perfect. If you want perfect, then you don't use a cellphone as a camera or a video recorder. After all, it is a phone first, then all the rest of the stuff. The reception is stellar on this phone, at least for me.
 
if it works for you, then all is well and good. a friend of mine has that phone and he says the reception isnt as good as some of his previous phones. he loves the phone and all that, but just not the reception. that view seems to be echoed by many on other forums too. sony ericssons and samsungs aren't that good for reception. motorolas and nokias tend to be the best. there is a cetain place i know where reception is difficult, and thats where i go to test it. SE and samsung(including my present one) have failed the test and can't get any recption at all. some motorolas can make a call briefly, and the nokias can get a signal briefly. when it comes to reception, i don't recommend samsung or SE.
i can't comment about LG, personally, because, apart from the fact that i'm never likely to own one, i don't know anyone who has one in my area to test, but they're meant to be less than good.
 
as for phones available to me, I can get anything that can run on a SIM card so almost any phone.

I have considered the SE but heard mixed reviews, im looking MOST for reception, then everything else. video/camera i dont really care about how good it is as long as i can take a decent quality vid/pic i dont care, not looking for anything spectacular.
keep coming guys, really just want a good phone with good reception.
