what is the slope of the line with the equation? 2x + 3y + 6=0



plz explain how to get the answer for this...
how did u get the -2/3 into the problem?
nevermind...i see...thanks for the help it is so much appreciated
 
solve for y (express it in slope-intercept form):
2x + 3y + 6 = 0
3y = -2x - 6
y = (-2/3)x - 2
the coefficient of x is the slope
so the slop is -2/3
