It really depends on ethnicity and geography. In Italy women were viewed as baby factories. Women were encouraged and paid to stay pregnant to raise future facsists to fight ward-raising millions of killers. If you were Polish or Jewish, you and your children were most likely gassed in the concentration camps. If a woman was good lokkin' she may have survived the slaughter as a whore for German soldiers. Not a great time in history to be alive!
