Another FOX animated pilot revealed

My guess: It'll premiere, the critics will love it, we'll all love it, the Nielsen families won't get it, it'll be cancelled and we'll all weep until the Arrested Development movie comes out...
 
Yeah, as fun as it sounds, it'll probably last about as long as The Critic or Futurama, and probably with a time slot just as bad as Futurama's was in the end.
 
It's an ambitious idea, but since it's not about a dysfunctional family, it will probably suffer the same fate as Arrested Development did: critics will love, audiences will ignore it, Fox will put it on a cul-de-sac time slot and it'l be gone within a year, provided it even lasts that long.
 
Well, in the era of Adult Swim, the show may be canceled quick, but go into immediate rotation with new episodes that Fox didn't air before pulling the plug.

Let's not forget that Fox is also reviving The Pitts as an animated series, so it looks like Fox is gunning to fill the 7-8 timeslot beyond reruns.
 
I will be looking forward for this to replace King of the Hill soon

I just got into Arrested Development (Saw the first couple eps on Hulu, bought the entire series for $50) and I love this series. Hopefully this will hold a candle to it
