Anyone know if there will be Exorcist 5?.

Dunno what would possess them to consider them making another (sorry!). But seriously, if it was on the carRAB (and I don't think it is) I'd say leave it alone. The first was good, the third was underated the rest were diabolical. No remakes please, either.

What was Exorcist 4? The prequel that came out at the end of last year, or the different version that Paul Schrader did before he was fired for not making it gory enough?

I doubt they'd make another, although having said that, theyre making a sequel to the remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, so you never know.

What was that Exorcist 'prequel' like? Was it anything to do with possesion or just about father merin in Iraq meeting ancient demons?

I havent seen it yet, the Hollywood version will be crap probably, I don't think the Paul Schrader version is out yet.

yeah the paul schrader one is out on dvd,part of the exorcist box set all films for

They are both Exorcist 4, they were shot from different scripts back to back and on the same set, one by Paul Shrader, one by Renny Harlin. Anyway, watch them together and they make a better 3rd film
