Another Crow Movie.

I loved the first Crow with Brandon Lee and I know they have done City Of Angels and Sulvation and Wicked Pray that was not very good.But does anyone think there should be another Crow movie even if Wicked Pray did not go very well.
 
Part of me would love to see another Crow movie, but on the condition that it was given a good budget so it could have a half decent cast. Otherwise it would still continue to be an insult to the original.
 
I liked Salvation but some people slagged it off.

And City of angels was more like the superhero version but had a poor storie line but Iggy Pop was good as the Anti Cop.

And Wicked Pray was crap and nothing like The Crow at all.
 
Wicked Pray was terrible, I looked forward to it too because of Furlong in the lead.

No more Crow films please, unless they can magically get it like the first classic one.
 
I agree that Salvation was really quite good. Wicker Prayer was rubbish. Apparently City of Angels could have been good (and far more subtle), but the studio interfered in its production in a huge way
 
Maybe if they do another Crow it will go on DVD or be made as a TV series like Stairway to heaven in 1999.

Or when Gothic culture come alive again or grunge.
 
There are still kiRAB out there who love all the goth stuff. They call themselves 'emo' now, but its pretty much exactly the same sub-culture with a different title and a slightly different haircut.
 
No dout they will since Stairway to haven is being remastered again on DVD boxset again with a bonus lost episode.And the comic sales do well in the US beside Sin City Batman & Wanted.And the reson they brought back Batman to film is of the sells the comic was getting with it's new look and made Batman begins into a film.And plus there is still alot of Crow fans out their wan'ting and waiting for a new Crow movie even if Wicked prey was rubbish and Salvation did not pull off well at the box offices in 1999.And they brought back Hell boy and now there talking about doing Sin City 2 another Cat Women so anything is possible.

i really can't remember salvation to be honest - i know i hated it because i still think the original is fantastic.

although saying that, when i saw salvation i was in the middle of doing a 5-film marathon at the cinema in one day, and i saw it as my 4th film and I was half asleep by the time i sat down to watch it ...

but, sadly, i was fully awake for wicked prayer which was shite ...
 
The script was been finished for over a year, but the wheels seem to have come off this production. I hope it happens, but it really is stuck in 'development hell' right now.
 
Nothing wrong with that. The Matrix got more from The Crow director's film Dark City though. The Matrix, Hellboy, Blade all good films in their own right.

As for Blade, the comic character first appeared in the 70s I believe, way before The Crow comics came about.
 
It's all to do with the darkness in both films and the gothic music.

Plus comic's like The Sandman was also infulence by The Crow but was never a movie.
 
Well the score music from The Crow is very different to the score music in the films you mentioned. Also the soundtrack of The Crow was full of banRAB that were big in the goth subculture at the time yes, unlike the other films you mentioned(Underworld was closest I believe to a goth soundtrack)

But yeah I know what you mean.
