Another Clear Alternatives tail light bites the dust

After only 3 months, my Clear Alternatives tail light started to die. First the signals stopped working, then the running and brake lights started flickering. When I took it off, I could hear something falling around in the assembly. Back to oem with no signals for now.

clear alternatives sucks ass, get the lockhart phillips integrated light instead. Much better longevity and looks better too (looks like the stock tail light). Got mine from motowheels.
 
+1 on Lockhart Phillips. It has the internal reflectors like the stock light and, in my opinion, is much better quality. But the number one reason is it's cheaper. $79 from the manufacturer.
 
Back in late '08, I ordered a pair of the smoked rear lenses, primarily so I could run a red light bulb.
When I took my 749 out for a high-speed run on
the highway on New Year's Day (knowing the
CHP would be all on the freeways), the left
one vibrated off, due to Ducati's press-fit
design. (I would think a set screw or something
would be a better way to mount them).
I wrote an e-mail to Clear Alternatives describing
my loss and they sent me another pair at no
charge a couple of weeks later.
Yes, I would buy from them again.
