the funny part is, in their Financial Reports, BCE mentioned the improved ARPU from their video unit (BEV), and credited the $6 increase in fees last year for the boost...so, rather than increase revenue through added subscribers and lower churn, something that Rogers did very well at, they have "punished" their loyal customers by slamming them with continuous price increases...i've got nothing wrong with price increases that are justified, but it is getting out of hand...let's also not forget about the wonderful Network Charge i pay on my home phone bill ($6) because i have an LD plan on my line (which is only $5)...my network charge is more than my plan charge (which effectively is $11)...fortunately, i will be dumping everything i have bell soon enough.
to make matters worse, i am STILL waiting for my benefits package that provides my options for my stocks, pension money and RRSP contributions i made while i was there...its been 3 1/2 months now...i am getting very angry (and yes, i have called a few times and was told "I don't know why you haven't received it, we will send it again)...i think its the same people who send you the boxes to return your rental receivers.
