i always thought about Bell's ditching of the AIO wireless plans...i honestly don't think their "loss of market share" had anything to do with the pricing of the plans...5+ years ago, Bell had the worst handset selection, mediocre plans, but top notch coverage and customer service...we used to hammer the competition every quarter...people didn't mind paying our price, even if some of the other competitors offered a little extra...something happened a couple of years ago in the corporate mindset at bell...it was around the same time the AIO plans were dropped, but people weren't leaving, or not signing up with bell, because of the AIO pricing...it was due to the policies and procedures the company was implementing on its customer base...you can only anger so many customers...once to anger too many of them, you really start to tarnish your brand, and word of mouth spreads fast...it gets to the point where nobody wants to do deal with you anymore, and your business really suffers because of it...you start losing good staff, and the amount of disgruntled customers continues to climb...its a cycle of despair...the last two years of quarterly results are proof of the mismanagement.
