so...... different to other religions, how?
censorship of the internet is whats really pissed these people off.
Its probably also a good way to attack all religions by starting with one that actually is rather shady.

The same could be said for any person in a state of conversion, more poignantly, in those who have converted from a traditionally imposed faith. I know when I declared my atheism, my mother was rocked to the core, having felt herself as having failed in some respect. She had no chance of intervention as atheism is not yet delineated as a cult.Lack of compassion for its members, arrogance, attack on free speech, harassment of its critics, lack of concern for families, neglect and abuse of children, censorship of the internet, etc.
Let's try and avoid argument though, kthx.
Scientology has certainly been more aggressive about pursuing legal recourse to what they perceive as slander than most other "religions".
Being quite well funded as well as relatively tech savvy (did the Catholic Church even know what YouTube was till recently?) they have been quite active of late...no idea why.

Just for the purposes of this thread and for the sake of argument...
What is Scientology, as an established religion, doing that other religions haven't done in the past or are continuing to do as we speak?
Allowing Irishmen the opportunity to make ironic posts which the hard of thinking will rise to with a surprising degree of sycophantic vigour.
