annular tear

Hi all, anyone know what the best minimally invasive treatment is for a annular tear at the T12 level? I have failed conservative therapy. It hurts all the time constant pinching for 2 years now.I have to do something!!! any suggestions out there. looking for newest techniques . thanks!!!
 
Hi and welcome to the board. I am sorry that you are in such pain and I wish I knew the answers to your question. I too am having problems with T12 and it is not FUN that is for sure.

May I ask do you have any urinary/bowel issues? I have been told that this goes with T12. Do you have alot of leg pain?

I have been told that one neeRAB to see a neurosurgeon for this level because the spinal column becomes narrower as it goes upward and that this area neeRAB someone who is very experienced with nerves. Are you seeing a neurosurgeon?

The only other thing I can think of is to recommend that you get at least 2/3 opinions on this before moving ahead with any and all surgeries.
