Annoying images overlaying the display (screensaver?!) - HTC Legend

Hi guys!
I bought HTC legend recently, everything worked well for a week. But a few days ago, very strange problem appeared.

When ending a call, calling a number or even during the call, some android pictures are appearing. It looks like a "screensaver" or something (the robot snowboarding, robot standing near the eiffel tower....). It is extremly annoying since I cannot see anything except this image, it covers whole display. The only way is to push the back button, then the picture disappears. For instance, this is one of the pictures that randomly appear:



I see no strange services or applications running in the background.
I would like to get rid of this "screensaver" or what it is, it makes me crazy!

I thought I was going crazy! I'm having this issue too (HTC Incredible running Froyo). It only happens when I make calls too. I thought it was Google Voice but I uninstalled that and it still happened. Sometimes I'll get the "screensaver" at the beginning of the call, not just at the end.

Anybody else have this issue or know of a fix?
 
it sounds like there is an app installed somewhere causing this. what you described is a description of call ring/callphoto/ring clip apps on the android market. example...
 
Aha! I found it. I didn't think of this at first because it has nothing to do with calling, but it was caused by an app called Scientific Calculator (by Keytel Co., Ltd). I heard another program called "Perfect Camera" might do this too. There is an app to fix this, called "Android Ring Stopper" but I'd just as soon not get another app to fix a "broken" app.
