Ankle Strengthening exercises for basketball to avoid ankle sprains?

Hi, I am a basketball player and I just recently sprained my ankle. It has been healing everyday and I have been rehabbing it and is almost completely healed. I understand that as a basketball player, landing on someones foot or just landing awkwardly on my ankle is inevitable. I just want to know what kinda exercise or whatever I should do to strengthen my ankle so that the chances of my ankle getting hurt again is lowered, and if it does get hurt, the severity will be as less as possible.
