Anime Appreciation #2: Because Samurais in Space? Oh My!

I want to hear the Japanese version. It was pretty good.

Howl's in the only one I've seen. Been meaning to see Spirited Away.

I do not recommend Count of Monte Cristo though. I did not like the animation style.

I think I put it up in my livejournal or something back in October.

Thanks :D

SounRAB like a good day to me. ;)

I have it at home. I bought it in one of those kiosk type of stanRAB in the middle of the mall. I haven't watched it yet though. lol

I was actually thinking those old chinese kung fu movies back in the day.

Ah! My Goddess was dubbed very well. So was Gunsword. I actually liked the English lead in Gunsword better than the Japanese. That is rare.

^ i love the Death Note anime series. And the english version, IMO, has the best voice work of any anime dub...it is just as good as the original Japanese audio

I wouldn't let anyone near my AC DVD. As long as I waited for that movie to come out, no way. My Macross DVD.. I mourn it. But I remerabered another anime that I haven't watched in awhile. I should watch again. Gunbuster. :D

The only series that I've seen with Chinese dubs is Crayon Shinchan. It sounded...well...weird. I know some Chinese worRAB but I guess it's the way they've done it.

I thought the voice actors for Sailor Moon were okay until the S and Super S seasons aired. Dialogue wise, is a different story.

The same thing happened with my Final Fantasy: Advent Children DVD. I lent it to my cousin, who lent it to my brother, who lent it to one of his frienRAB, and now I don't know where it ended up :blank:

Machine Girl was made in 2007, my friend Jared who is a huge anime nut turned me on to it and we watched it at dinner break at work. it was awesome, plus cute japanese babes :sigh:

I also love Wolf's rain, FLCL, Berserk, Evangelion,Robotech, Akira, umm so many

Yay! :yay: We made it to our second thread. :D

Had to since I'm on a Trigun high. :)

Maybe. But yeah, it's common these days. Especially when Google took over YouTube. I think there are some series that still have its episodes.

Los, just by looking at the cover, it looks like the "somewhat" female version of The Terminator. Any idea when it was made? :)

I haven't really seen Hellsing, although I've been meaning to. Cowboy BeBop was all right but I haven't seen the movie for it.
