Animation company with most attractive characters

What studios or animation style has the most attractive characters? Which animation has characters that are beatuiful and sexy? Who does the best job.

Well tradtional comic books specificly Marvel and DC comics, they knew how to draw very attractive characters.

But IMO, and with appologies to the hard core fans, I am painting them with a broad brush, because I don't much about the different studios and companies that make them, but for me, Anime is the best.

The females in Anime and Magma, the majority of them are very hot. I got to hand it to the Anime animaters, they know how to draw beautiful characters in my opinon. I am sure the male characters are attractive as well, but don't pay attention to that, if you know what I mean. LOL

On the show Pokemon, there is a character named Brock, who hits on almost ever girl his age, and I don't blame him. I would do the same thing if I was him, LOL.

I'd say the WB Bruce Timm designed characters, from BTAS to Freakazoid! to Justice League were well done. He gave them that 1940's noir look while keeping them modern.

You have to put Disney at the top of the list since they almost singlehandedly introduced attractive characters to animation. Most of their designs are beau-ti-ful.

I agree with that. Disney has done a great job, if you look at cartoon characters in the early 20th century, and see how different Disney was.

Another thing, to me beautiful cartoon characters, are the full effort to make them look beautiful from feet to head. Anime provides elegence to their characters and I love that. There are some cartoons (mostly for adults) that think that just drawing big breats is all they need.

Come on, man. How hard is it to explain your choices? This is a discussion board. Randomly naming things accomplishes nothing.

Anyway I'll definitely agree that Disney always had the nicest looking characters, especially in the late 30s to the early 40s. This includes their shorts characters as well as their theatrical characters. Thanks to their higher budgets MGMs characters (especially Tom and Jerry) always looked great.

Before they went entirely CG, Dreamworks did have a certain hyperrealistic aesthetic to their human handdrawn characters. Look at Prince of Egypt, El Dorado, Sinbad, etc. They all had that certain elongated, stylized look to them that wasn't quite Disney, but seemed a little more mature. Prince of Egypt basically started the trend because they were attempting to recreate the look of hieroglyphics, but the character design kind of stuck.

Same for the male characters...not that I'm complaining. :D

I agree with the character designs in Bleach. One character rarely looks like another character.

The animation studio with the most attractive characters would have to be Kyoto Animation (FMP:The Second Raid, Haruhi Suzumiya, Kanon 2006.) Their style has a high degree of detail, especially the eyes and hair, but still animates very cleanly. KyoAni puts a lot of effort into each project, only animating one series at a time and doing everything in-house, rather than sending the in-betweens to be done overseas.

As for individual character designers, my personal favorite is Itoh Ikuko (Sailormoon S, Mahou Tsukai Tai, Princess Tutu.) Her style is so cute. It also doesn't hurt that she often works with my favorite director, Satou Junichi (Sailormoon, Ojamajo Doremi, Princess Tutu, Kaleido Star.) :anime:
