Animated wallpaper but not when applied???

Hey all - probably a stupid question, but there is at least one animated OEM wallpaper by default on my Cricket Razr. It is animated when I view it but once applied to the home screen it is not animated - am i missing something here? LOL Tried to upload a few and the same thing. They look great when I browse to them but once applied as wallpaper they are not animated anymore

Hey thanks for the quick response! The Razr I have is a Sprint V3M that I flashed to Cricket. When i used it with Sprint it was able to do animated wallpaper - do you think If I flashed with Altel it would do it?
