Animated Crossover Fantasy Thread

I saw a similar thread in the Entertainment board for Live-Action Crossovers, so here's one for animation.

What characters would you like to crossover?

Beavis and Butt-Head meet Hank Hill. Maybe they could throw in a joke about the similarities in Hank and Anderson's voices. I think a feasible story could be that Peggy findfs out that Beavis and Butt-Head have no parents and feel bad for them, deciding to take the two in, where they drive Hank crazy, and corrupt Bobby.

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door characters in an epic saga with Disney and Looney Tunes characters called "Krossover Kronicles".
What are you laughing at? There's a slight chance of it happening.... :anime:

:p Beast Wars+Transformers Animated-Somehow the Maximals and Predacons get bumped up a couple of millenia, and will have to deal with the "truck not monkey" paradox. :p

I dunno really... i've thought of many over the years but my memory is terrible so i'll say The Simpsons and South Park, and Daria and The Simpsons... and Daria and Doug... and Pepper ann and Fillmore!

Here are some of my picks:

"Rocko's Modern Life" and "Spongebob Squarepants" - same animators, similar characters, similar humor.

Snoopy and Garfield - Do I even need to say it?

"The Road Rovers" and "the Swat Kats" - They are basically the dog and cat versions of each other, so they just need to meet.

"The Smurfs" and "the Snorks" - It might work, since scientists and magicians are in the shows, and time travel is also a possibility.

"Family Guy" and "American Dad" - I am not just talking about cameos, I am talking about the entire families meeting each other. I could see Meg leaving the Griffins to move in with the Smiths, and hey, maybe Meg and Haley could switch places. I wonder what the families would think. Maybe it would be better if Meg and Steve switch places, since Peter always wanted a son instead of a daughter, and Chris and Hayley would probably not get along very well.

"Ed, Edd and Eddy" and "Catscratch" - I could see Ed, Edd and Eddy trying to adopt Waffles, Gordon, and Mr. Blik. Eddy would also love a butler, and I could see him and Mr. Blik get wrapped up in all sorts of money schemes. Waffles and Ed, and Gordon and Edd would also hit it off very well.

"Darkwing Duck" and "Ducktales" - They both have Launchpad McQuack and they both involve ducks, that is good enough for me.

I had a whole list planned out, but I will think of more later. There are obviously many more that I can think of, but these are the only ones I can think of right now.

Looneytunes/Disneytoons

Spider-Man TAS/Gargoyles: Greg Weisman writes this episode where Elisa Maza is partnered with Terri Lee, as they witness a series of events involving the return of Venom and Carnage, only for Terri to meet up with Elisa's stone guardian friends, the Manhattan Clan, who have just met Spider-Man during a battle with Venom, who was under the control of Demona! Now with the presence of a new group of symbiotes attacking New York City, Spider-Man, the Manhattan Clan, and Detectives Maza and Lee must find a way to stop Demona, Venom, and their new army of super-symbiotes from destroying the city! And, wait until David Xanatos tries to buy the Daily Bugle out from under J. Jonah Jameson in that same episode!

i have never been a big fan of the way the show centered around demona. it seemed a little pushed or redundant, some of the different story lines were good but i was not a fan.

i would have xanatos capture spiderman and makes a magic clone and puts him on a crimespree with his robot gargoyles and attack the manhattan gargoyles. lee can not find spiderman and is partnered with mazza to take spiderman down. they spill their secrets about their crime fighting friends and decide to help each other out. realizing kingpin is their only hope of stopping xanatos the gargoyles try to foil his attack on kingpin. the gargoyles are beaten up and kingpin escapes into the police hands.

begginning of part 2 after general butt kicking the clock tower is destroyed with the help of Lee and mazza everyone realizes they have to break kingpin free after the breakout. they go on dangerous scavenger hunt to get tools neccessary to defeat spiderman and very dominant xanatos. they go to egypt to get some magic to break spidey free, as well as the tech neccessary for the kingpin to make some better robot spiders.

finale of the 3 part spectacular would be the showdown. the magic tool is brokecan only be used by spidey todestroy the magic clone so setting spidey free is goal #1. the big matchups become kingpin and goliath throwing down with xanatos in his red armor and cool magic spells and new tech he found in kingpin's secret R@D labs, spidey versus suped up magic spidey with distraction help from the rest of the clan to use the magic tool, robot spiders versus robot gargoyles, and Lee and Mazza going at owen to try and get the evidence to clear spidey and the clan. demona breaks into the battle and helps xanatos escape and no one can touch kingpin because he has the dirt on everyone else breaking him free, and once the robot gargoyles are destroyed the robot spiders turn on everyone else and help kingpin escape as well. not much results from this crossover but there are cool battles good storylines with a chance to work in some open ends as the story progresses.

Not "Spider-Man: TAS" but, Greg Weisman is writing a crossover story as the Gathering of the Gargoyles' Radio Play this year between Gargoyles and The Spectacular Spider-Man.

Wow. I wonder how Greg will reconcile the time difference. Or it could be like the "crossover" in his Captain Atom comic, which was goofy fun.

I did not think I could hate missing this years Gathering more than I already did. Thank you for that. ;)

Any way I could get a copy of the radio play (script or audio) after the Gathering?

Reposting what I wrote from a similar but more CN-specific thread on the Cartoon Network forum:

Total Drama Island/Action and 6Teen in "Canadian Wacky Races"

Setup: Chris, realizing the popularity (and money to be made/chance of seeing nasty wrecks) of NASCAR and similar auto-racing, convinces the network execs to sponsor a cross-country road rally featuring the stars of "Total Drama Island/Action." The network likes the idea, but wants some new characters to help liven things up (plus their marketing minions deciding that recruiting more than just teenagers would be worthwhile). One set of auditions at the Galleria Mall---and the construction/obtaining of a bunch of wacky race cars for the contestants---later, we've got the following contestants (fitting in the 6Teen/TDI cast members as closely to Wacky Races' format and drivers as possible---though given TDI has a bigger cast, probably more from there, sorry):

1. Jonesy in the Turbo Terrific: Lots of crowing about having the hottest race car on the track (and being "the hottest *guy* on the track")... until it falls apart, of course. (And yes, *somehow* he's also fired.... from *something*.... ;-) )

2. Owen and Mr. Coconut in the Buzzwagon: Owen's outdoormanship makes him a nice fit for this lumberjack-themed racecar, plus he'll get to take Mr. Coconut along for the ride. That and being afraid of planes makes the Crimson Haybailer a no-go...

3. Ron the Rent-a-Cop and Jude in the (Canadian) Army Surplus Special: Ron's pseudo-quasi-military mindset and Jude deciding to go along with the rent-a-cop for the chance to drive "a kickin' racing tank" makes for the perfect choice here.

4. Duncan, Courtney, Tyler, Noah, Wyatt, Jen, and Nikki in the Bulletproof Bomb: Duncan the juvenile delinquent is perfect for this 20s gangster-car, with Courtney as his "moll" and the rest as, well, his own "gang" of sorts (or someone for Duncan to intimidate... or at least *try* to, in Jen and Nikki's cases).

5. Darth in the Convert-a-Car: the only character out of this bunch (besides maybe Harold or Beth) with any grasp on science, or science-*fiction* as it were.

6. Caitlin and Lindsey in the Compact Pussycat: Yeah, I put two of them here instead of one---but given who they are (fashion-and-makeup-obsessed characters), guessing they'd love driving a "cute" pink-colored car with makeup-and-clothes-themed controls... and guessing they'd hit it off with each other.

7. Katie and Sadie in the Bouldermobile: They're practically twins already---plus like the Slag Brothers share the same brain. ;-)

8. Eva and Gwen in the Creepy Coupe: Eva's easily "Big Gruesome"... and goth-girl Gwen would probably love riding around in a haunted house-on-wheels.

9. LeShawna(?) in the Crimson Haybailer: Not sure for that one... thus I went with personal TDI favorite LeShawna.

10. Izzy and DJ in the Arkansa----er, Alberta Chuggabug: Izzy being, well, *Izzy* and DJ's cowardice at anything remotely dangerous should = one amusing racecar. ;-)

11. Heather and her sidekick, Stanley (the bratty six-year-old on "6Teen") in the Mean Machine: Yeah, Heather's the predictable choice as villain---plus Stanley makes for a good obnoxious little sidekick (who'll go along just to laugh at Heather as much as helping her pull stuff on the other racers).

As for the racecourse, I'll assume a cross-country rally from the Galleria Mall (apparently in Ontario, per one special) to far-off Sunset Island, British Columbia (yeah, a "Stoked" tie-in :-p )...

---
If anyone asks, I could come up with one as a broader cross-studio "Wacky Races" crossover...

-B.

That all actually sounds really good!

Here's mine:

Chowder/Flapjack - When Chowder, Mung, and Shnitzel go out to sea to find a rare fish species, they are suddenly caught in a terrible storm and pass out. Later, Bubbie the Whale, Flapjack, and Knuckles find them and hilarity ensues as Chowder, Mung, and Shnitzel find their way back home.

Tom & Jerry/SpongeBob Squarepants - Basically Tom chases Jerry out on the docks, and they both fall in the water. Only this time, they land in Bikini Bottom. (Both of them get freaked out by the fact that a sponge can talk.)

Daria/Kim Possible - When a serious international crime is committed in Lawndale, Team Impossible comes to the scene and is given a hard time by Daria and Jane.

That's it for now.

Inspector Gadget/Where In The World Is Carmen San Deigo?: Carmen San Diego is hired by MAD to go around the world and collect the parts for a super-machine that will enable them to take over the world so Inspector Gadget tries to stop her meanwhile penny meets up with the 2 kids from Carmen San Deigo and they use thier wits to stop her but thanks to a bumbling Gadget she gets away every time.......

this could make a very good TV series

this next one would make a good TV movie:

The Marvelous and Tasty Misadventures Of Chowder and Flapjack: Chowder,Schitznel, and Mung Daal have to go to Flapjacks town to retrieve a rare plant on an island and the only way to get there is from Flapjack's town. After stopping at the candy store Chowder and Flapjack meet and then Captian K'nuckles agrees to help Chowder and is friends if he and Flapjack are repayed in homemade candy and pastries.....I think both these have a lot of potential and the latter could even spawn a sequel or 2

One I just thought of, watching Boomerang.

Fantastic Max / Space Ace - two kind of obscure cartoon shows of the 80's that deals with space, and throws logic out of the window. I thought the alien villain that Max encounter in space in the opening looks just like Space Ace's nemesis commander Borf. FM does break the fourth wall a lot, I don't think SA ever broke the fourth wall, but still the logic of the cartoon adaption of SA would make sense in FM.

Code Lyoko/Dexter's Laboratory: Dexter and his family win a vacation to the Paris, France area. While on a mobile tour, Dexter sees the factory, becomes intrigued, and sneaks off to check it out, not knowing that Dee Dee is following him. He becomes fascinated with everything there, and goes to the elevator and up to the lab, where he sees the supercomputer..And just then, Jeremie gets there, and the two have a long, irate argument while Dee Dee ends up in the scanner room, gets accidentally virtualized, and ends up making friends with all the monsters on Lyoko and tries to have a tea party with them in Sector 5.

Megas XLR/Invader ZIM: Zim and Gir discover Megas, and try to use it to take over the world. Dib tries to show it as proof that aliens exist, and Gir uses it to destroy New Jersey. Coop is mad because he says that it's his job to do that.

Codename: Kids Next Door/6teen: This would be potentially awesome. You've got a show about a group of kids who fight against and hate teenagers, and a show about a group of teenagers. The KND would probably try to recruit Stanley ("Yummy Mummy"'s bratty son).

Total Drama Island-Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy - Again, potentially epic. Mandy would probably think of Heather as an older Mindy. Grim and Chef Hatchet would probably rant together, and if these were more "mature" shows, probably be drinking.
Billy would be thinking of Owen as an idol.

Johnny Bravo/Stoked: Johnny comes to Surfers Paradise Resort to try to meet girls and impress them by surfing, so he ends up getting taught by Reef, and they end up with a friendship and try to impress girls together.
Meanwhile, the other workers are fed up with Bunny Bravo's endless requests, and Suzie follows Fin around all the time, annoying her.
And Carl would be in there somewhere.

Whatever Happened to Robot Jones?/My Life as a Teenage Robot: Why not?

Here's mine again:

Jem and the Holograms/The Secret Saturdays - Here's a really messed-up crossover courtesy of Jay Stephens and Christy Marx, as Jem and the Holograms and the Misfits are invited to perform on a special episode of "Weird World." There's one problem though: It's a trap set up by Eric Raymond and V.V. Argost, who wants revenge on Jem, and to replace Pizzazz and the Misfits with a new band of hypnotic musical cryptids that use their melodies to take control of various political leaders in Washington D.C.!

Meanwhile, Doc, Drew, Zak and Doyle are watching the Lindsey Pierce show, hoping to see Jem and the Holograms perform when they witness Lindsey's telecast being taken over by Argost and the hostess herself held hostage by Argost and his henchman Munya. Realizing that the girl group and their rivals have been captured by Argost, The Saturday family springs into action to rescue the Holograms, Misfits and Pierce from Argost's Weird World complex, unknown to Doc Saturday that Jem is really Jerrica Benton, the oldest daughter of Emmett Benton, a scientist who was one of Solomon Saturday's mentors when he was a teenager, and that Pizzazz is really Phyllis Gabor, a friend of Doyle Blackwell's from years ago.

The Saturdays finally enter the Weird World mansion and free both bands from their prison. But there's another problem: the Misfits' manager, Eric Raymond, who has a history with both Drew Saturday and Leonidas Van Rook! Now the Saturdays, Holograms and Misfits have to find a way escape the various booby traps and cryptid guardians of Weird World, while stopping Argost, Raymond, Techrat, Munya and Raymond's new cryptid band in the process! Think of this episode as "Music and Magic in the Nghtmare Factory."

There's one question though: Would Doyle be the one to tame Roxy? Would Zak Saturday be able to deal with Jerrica's Starlight Girls? And would Fiskerton, Komodo and Zon be able to deal with Synergy's holograms when they discover the holographic computer at Starlight Mansion? And, will the Saturdays be able to keep Jerrica's secret identity safe?

Gotta love it!!!

Kenny
