Animated box-office bombs you actually saw in theaters

Thumbelina (1994): This was the first movie I saw in theaters. I remember that my mom, my grandma, and I were the only ones in the theater.

Balto (1995): I remember that the only reason why we saw this movie is because we saw some toys at Toys r Us.

Sinbad (2003): My dad took my brother and I to the theater and my brother wanted to see the Hulk and I didn't. We went and saw this instead.

Home on the Range (2004): I actually saw this one twice (against my own will). First time I saw it with a friend, then I saw it with the family.
 
At the moment, all I can think of is Astro Boy, The Powerpuff Girls Movie, Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, and The Ant Bully. Though the last one mentioned had a decent size crowd, all the others tere were only five other people in a big theater.
 
I saw Astro Boy because I was bored and my eyes were dilated. I remember seing the Powerpuff Girls Movie on my seventh birthday. Also, I unfortunately saw Happily N'ever After in theaters when I was bored and hadn't seen a movie in three months.
 
I saw Titan A.E. when it first came out and I loved it. A couple years following I saw Treasure Planet because my younger cousins wanted to go to a movie and that was the only kiddie-rated movie out at the time. Even back then I thought it was stupid. I also saw The Road to El Dorado and Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (love and hated, respectively).

On the other hand, I loved The Iron Giant so much that first time I saw with my brother and his friend, that I dragged my mom to see it with me a second time. Even though she's normally not into animation, she liked it a lot.

I also went out of my way to see the CGI Astro Boy movie in theaters, which turned out to be a mistake. And, despite the critical praise, wasn't Fantastic Mr. Fox considered a box-office disappointment? I saw that one too, in a packed theater no less.
 
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, which I saw twice. I went the day after Christmas with a friend and his grandparents, then again a few days later with my mom and little brother. I still have my ticket stubs for it, too. :)
 
I saw The Iron Giant, The Powerpuff Girls Movie, Hey Arnold The Movie, Treasure Planet, Atlantis: the Lost Empire, and the Road to El Dorado when they came out. I liked all of them and was unaware that they bombed at the time because I was too young to care about such things. Now I'm a little upset that they didn't do better, especially the Iron Giant.
 
I remember seeing Home on the Range, and I thought it was really stupid, although Rosanne Barr does a good voice.

Treasure Planet was pretty cool, I thought. Not perfect, but neat design and some excellent animation.

Astro Boy was awesome, no question. Did not deserve to fail. I liked it better than Up or Cloudy or Frog or any other animated movie this year. I saw it twice. Both times the theater was about half-full during a matinee, and the audiences really seemed to like it. The kids in particular were transfixed. I haven't seen that happen in an animated film in a looonnnggg time.
 
Titan A.E. is the only one I can think of. I was hyped like crazy for this as a child, only because I watched Fox Kids at the time and they were advertising it to no end (turns out they were the only ones actually hyping it).

The first I loved and still consider a classic and the latter was a mixed bag that hasn't aged particularly well. But I'm glad I saw them both in theaters.
 
Home on the Range, which I kind of liked:o and Iron Giant, which is so awesome it should NEVER have bombed. I remember waiting years for a sequel which never happened.
 
Balto, which I thought was good at the time. Haven't seen it in years, though, so I don't really know how it holds up these days.

Also, Clone Wars. That wasn't a bomb, exactly, but it didn't do all that well. I know I wasn't impressed, anyway.
 
I saw Hey Arnold!: The Movie, Home on the Range, Treasure Planet, and The Powerpuff Girls Movie. Treasure Planet, Hey Arnold, and PPG were the only ones I liked. It was packed when I saw PPG and Hey Arnold.
 
The Iron Giant: Frankly, I'm surprised this one tanked. I personally quite liked it.

Titan AE: I did see this one. Had a lot of potential, but didn't exactly hit on it in the right way.

Treasure Planet: I liked this one at first. Now, though? Umm, I've definitely seen better.
