I took an interesting elective course in college called "Insects and Society", thought it would be an easy A, but it was one of the coolest courses outside of my major that I attended. Insects are FAR more complex than people think they are, they form complex societal structures, they perform burial rituals, they use themselves as tools (ex. ants can link together by the thousands to form a living raft to float the queen down a stream)...
