Animal rights or image media portrays?? Speech class help?!?!?

Hello everyone!
In speech class my assignment is to write about a social issue that affects me. So the two I came down too are:

1). The truth about PETA and how they are money hungry activists.

2). How the images displayed on magazines affect teens body issues.

So people of yahoo answers please help me out and tell me which one is better to write about in your opinion. Also please give me ideas to start off of!
