animal crossing: city folk.. fish and bugs?

after i catch the fish they go into my pocket, but how do i move them from my pocket to the fish and bugs thing on the screen?
or can i?
oh i see ok thank you, i thought i could store them there, i get it now, thanks a bunch! :)
 
once you catch them they automatically go on there.if you catch all the fish you get the golden fishing pole and if you catch all the bugs you get the golden net good luck and happy fishing and bug catching.
