Ani-Monday Feb. & Mar. Schedules (Gundam 00, Gurren Lagann, Rave Master & More)

I'd like to see Eureka Seven get a shot too, [adult swim] just mangled it up, If they redub Rave Master I hope to hear Kenji Kawai's original score

No, no, a million times no. That show scared people off on Adult Swim with its plodding plot, whiny lead, and non action. Sci-Fi can't afford to air it.

Because Rave Master is an old show that FUNi (or whoever has it) probably wouldn't mind giving broadcast rights to another company so it could get some exposure.

There's also the possibility that Manga Entertainment themselves pulled out the cash to do a rescue and redub, but Manga doesn't strike me as the type of company that would do that.

Given that the old one is associated with Toonami an update may be reasonable, but this isn't really the place to talk about or ask for one. Use the Talkback Image Request Thread. Thanks!

I don't really want long SJ series coming. I mean, I love One Piece, but it's VERY long. If it aired that's occupying a huge chunk of the block for a very long time, which I don't think they'll want to do. Also, it's my impression that Ani-Monday is generally shooting for an older demographic. If Ani-Monday were 3 or 4 hours long it'd be a different story, but it's not. I'll be happier seeing diversity brought to the block.

Kenshin talk raises a good thought, though. If they can air Ninja Scroll, they could air Sumurai X: Trust & Betrayal without any problems. They should snap those up from ADV post haste, as those OVA's are still pretty much the best Samurai anime that you'll ever find.

I still don't see what was so bad about that dub. The edits were not that horrid to me. And the voices were not bad ether but I realize I'm the minority here.

If it was an uncut dub, they'd use the uncut titles.

Original title for episode one: "The One Who Inherits Rave"
Dub title for episode one: "The Rave Master, Part 1"

Original title for episode two: "Shyuda of the Fire Flame"
Dub title for episode two: "The Rave Master, Part 2"

The Sci Fi schedule page has the dub titles.

I figured it would be the old dub. If it was a new dub we would have heard about it by name, same thing if there was an uncut version of the existing dub, we would have knwon about it already.

So like the first time it aired the only thing special about the show would be hearing Tom Kenny in an anime dub.
