Ani-Monday Feb. & Mar. Schedules (Gundam 00, Gurren Lagann, Rave Master & More)

I once owned "X" but could never make it through to the end so I got rid of it. But I've never seen Ninja Scroll and I have heard good things about it.

Now if Ani-Monday can possibly extend and also create an Ani-Tuesday or something for this summer then we might be talking about a really good block.

Ninja Scroll is good... uncut. There's a lot cut from the version they'll be airing on Sci-Fi, sadly. D: It's still pretty good though. I own the DVD.

As far as the X Movie.. yeah, I agree about it being much different than the series. D:

Feb. 2nd.. Quadruple 00 is crazy.

First of all it can't possibly be strictly true because there are only five episodes left to air. So if true they would extend the block from two hours to two and a half, which would be rather unorthodox. It would save viewers from suffering cliffhangers, but Ani-Monday has never done that before.

As can be seen here, there has been no official change to the schedule for Feb 2nd. So it's just flaky rumor in my book. They still have episode 25 scheduled for the 9th, followed by Appleseed.

eh... I'll pass on Rave Master, sorry =[
At least X will be on again. That's always fun!
Maybe Gundam 00 Season 2? Sometime in the future? maybe? possibly? pleaseeee?

Ah, Ninja Scroll, a classic of all classics. Edited or not, that's definitely worth a look if you haven't seen it yet. Also been meaning to catch X, and more 00 sounRAB good.

I'll probably pass on everything else, though.

What i dont get is why they advertise the block as opposed to advertising specific shows. I know its so they can get people to watch the entire block, but someone may not like one show, but may like the show after it. But by only promoting the block and not mentioning specifically what shows are on, it means they miss out on casual fans.

Actually they air Manga anime. In the case of the BANDAI and Central Park titles, the broadcast rights have been sold to Manga to air, but everything on Ani-Monday has had Manga involvement.

Tell me how Soul Eater is any worse off airing on Sci-Fi than Rave Master.

And at least Soul Eater HAS elements in it that Ani-Monday's target demographic can enjoy. Heck, as people have said in other topics, it's the new FMA (in more ways than one).

Uh.. interesting. There ARE "6" episodes coming on tonight. Two are listed as separate entities while the other two are linked together as hour long episodes.. even though it's episode #23 and 24... What the heck? D:

I prefer to see Rave Master as a tolerable oddity. If it were to become the norm in the block's current state, I wouldn't be too happy. Ani-Monday isn't Toonami, nor is it Shonen Jump central. It has its own identity that I'd like to see it keep. That won't happen if series that run for hundreRAB of episodes end up taking over. Rave Master is at least limited to about 50, just like Gundam 00.

Well, Moribito's rights belong to CN/AS anyway. Rave Master's probably been expired for a year or so at least (although CN never removed the show from their website).

I'm actually thinking this is a new uncut dub produced by FUNimation like what ChibiGoku's suggested.

I agree, I hope sci-fi doesnt try to completly rip-off toonami, they have something good going for them, and rave master, while it is a good show, isnt exactly sci-fi worthy in my opinion.

I have Brighthouse Cable, and on my cable guide for tonight's Sci-Fi airing, it's listed that way.

Mind you, I'm in Central time.

10:00-10:30 Gundam 00
10:30-11:30 Gundam 00
11:00-12:00 Gundam 00
12:00-1:00 Gundam 00
1:00 X-Files

So that's 2 hours for 2 episodes. I'm thinking it has to be some sort of typo or something.
