Ani-Monday Feb. & Mar. Schedules (Gundam 00, Gurren Lagann, Rave Master & More)

Sadly there is no other dub of Rave Master (While I do like the voice acting the edits make it pointless for Ani-monday) It will just be so out of place on this block, where the edits have been minor at best for even it's worst shows.

Yes, yes I really do think Rave Master will crash and burn. Do I want it to? No, unless it is the edited dub, which can be sentenced to anime purgatory for all I care.

I watched Ani-Monday last night for a while and noticed the block has no wraparound or special bumps, they just kind of dump right into a commercial and then come back from a commercial unannounced, I didn't like that. Has Ani-Monday always been like that?

Honestly, at this point, no one is sure just what is going on. It could be a new dub. It could be the old dub. We won't know until someone says or (worst case scenario) not find out until it air. Just wait and see.

Not too long ago we had the Johnny Yong Bosch hour (Bleach and Code Geass), and now, we have the Yuri Lowenthal block.

Kind of weird Sci Fi got airing rights to Rave Master. But, it probably won't do very well, if they're gonna air the CN version.

If it was a new dub we would have heard of it's existence. We would have heard that some else picked up the show and re dubbed it. Or if there was an uncut/less edited dub we would have known about it. There is no way it could be re dubbed or have a less edited dub. No way in hell.

Looks at how quickly TTGL was dubbed after it was first annouced.

Never mind I guess a dub can be made that quickly but still we don't even know who owns the show's license.

Well be it edited or uncut I never watched Rave Master last time around, so I will watch it this time. And by the time Gurren Lagann returns, the whole series will be out on dvd so I probably won't be rewatching that.

So I'll be watching:
Gundam 00
Macross Plus
Appleseed
Ninja Scroll (would watch the "X" Movie by that bores me to death, plus the movie cast isn't the same as the series cast)
Rave Master

Bumpers could be looked at as a viewer curtosy if you stop to think of it. Many like you are probably going homework or something during the breaks and a nice "back to the show" bump would alert the viewer that their show is back on and it's time to pay attention. I wonder if anyone from Ani-Mondays is reading this, lol.

No, it hasn't always been like that. I remeraber there being lots of Ani-Monday bumpers between commercials when the block first started a couple years ago. I think there used to be an intro, too. Nowadays, they rarely air them, but there are bumpers.

Honestly am I the only one looking at this as an oppurtunity for more shows like rave master?

If rave master (uncut) does well, then maybe other shows like it could come along, giant robots are nice and all, but its nice to have a change of pace.

UNCUT.

if its edited, then whatever it is garbage to me.

Don't normally post in here, but folks over at Allspark are saying tomorrow Sci-Fi is airing three hours/six episodes of Gundam 00, rather than the previously reported two hours/four episodes.

If true, that is really weird. Why so desperate to suddenly blow through it?
