Ani-Monday Feb. & Mar. Schedules (Gundam 00, Gurren Lagann, Rave Master & More)

Yes, but it's an older series so from where I'm standing BEI shouldn't mind giving Manga the broadcast rights for it.

Of couse, if they're going to go that route, I wouldn't mind seeing Crest of the Stars & Banner of the Stars eventually getting aired. That's a solid SF show.

So the orignal lines making him menacing were "unappealing"? They just sounded stupid and insulting, rather than trying to actually have intelligent humor. He was trated as a joke in the script, but what was shown onscreen simply didn`t match. that's inconsistent and bad.

At least pokemon and One piece had a goofy atmosphere to play off of.

I didn`t notice anythign in trinity blood that stood out nearly as bad and as stupidly as that.

save the funny lines for charachters that are SUPPOSED to be goofy, like Etemon.

They should, shouldn't they?

It'll be interesting what kind of Rave Master shows up. The edited dub? An uncut version of the original dub? Or is it a completely new dub with a new licensor?

But here's the main reason why Sci-fi probably pounced:

Rave Master has 50 episodes, so two of them a week makes RM good for half a year of guaranteed "new" content on Ani-Mondays.

Okay, I'm pretty late.

Okay so....Teh heckorz!? This show was still around? And people actually cared about the rights to it? Whoa. I mean, I would never expect to see something like this on Sci-Fi of all places. I didn't particularly like the edited version but anything that could bring more anime on the channel is fine with me.

Now they really need to get a CGI host, some music videos and some more Gundam and they'd be perfect for a new Toonami. (not that I liked it or anything but maybe they could show DESTINY since it never came on network television in the states)

I think Tokyopop edited stuff out themselves, so unless they used the master copy for a redub (that was so secret it escaped ANN), there's not a whole lot SciFi can leave in.

But still, wow, four years since the show finished airing at 4 in the morning...(I think it was 4 am...)

So Rave Master is coming. Didn't really like the Toonami version, but I'm curious to see how it's handled here. I kinda liked the "Take On Me cover guys" theme, though.

As for Bandai and CPM titles, I wonder if they can get away with airing Agent Aika after a bit of editing...?

Considering Sci-fi is reportedly paid to keep the block on I bet that Tokyopop, FUNimation, or whoever has the rights now gave Sci-fi a fat bag of cash money to put on Rave Master.

I'm praying it's an uncut dub (though I'll say it won't be "uncut" even if it technically is, thanks to Sci-fi's annoying, unnecessary timecuts when they already murder the ERAB).

I will maintain that RM will borab horribly. E7, Macross, Escaflowne, Baccano!, whatever else has been floated, they're all better fits for the block than RM.

YES! Rave master! I love that anime unlike most people. Something for once I can watch and look back to of it's awesomeness. >_> It's a shame the show had such a lame cliffhanger when it was getting so good.

And as for Gurren Lagann even more awesome! I never got to watch the show much at all so this is going to be completely new for me.

>_> You really think Rave master is going to borab? Really I 100% doubt that, if it's uncut anyway. And Rave master does have it's giant ships and what not so I suppose that's' why it fits in Ani-Monday.
