Ani-Monday Feb. & Mar. Schedules (Gundam 00, Gurren Lagann, Rave Master & More)

I have nothing against Rave Master, and I didn't mean to imply that it was a bad choice for Sci-Fi, just that Sci-Fi is more about the robots, which Eureka 7 has.

I agree. Some of the lines were so random and weird that they became funny. However, I think those were few rare occasions when I would watch the dubs to Adventure 01 and 02.

Anyway, Rave Master is airing on the SciFi block, Ani-Monday? Wow. I'm surprised. I remeraber really enjoying the show back when it was on Toonami. I didn't realize that there were edits done to the show at the time, but I thought that it was enjoyable. I definitely thought that they had some good voice acting on the show. Whether or not it's the edited version or a new uncut dub, I'll watch the show again and see if I still enjoy it.

I actually haven't watched much of this block before. I wasn't too interested in some of the shows that they were airing, but maybe I should see more of the block and learn more about the shows before they start airing Rave Master in March. It would be an interesting way to spend my Monday nights at least.

Personally I like Rave master dood! Givin its an incomplete series and you have to read the manga to know the ending!...But still Im glad that there gonna air somthing I know I can watch and not be either Dissapointed or entertained...I wonder when Sci-fi will air the second season of Gundam00 though?

Unfortunately, rights to the first season lapsed and they only have the second season as a result. Only reason FUNimation didn't rerelease it as originally planned. I'm unsure why they didn't renew the rights to the season when they lapsed. Probably won't be worth it, I'd assume...

Yeah, I never expected Descendants of the Darkness (which I saw before it was on SciFi) or any of Central Park Media's anime to be on SciFi

By the way Descendants of the Darkness was SciFi's first shoujo anime

I agree, plus without Rave Master, where would Yuri Lowenthal be right now, Haru pretty made is career in my opinion (in fact he's my favourite character that he played), and I definitely wouldn't have known who he was

Anyway to get back on topic, Eureka Seven deserves another shot and I believe it'll do well on SciFi

Not to mention that was their first shoujo anime, hell I wouldn't be surprised if Vampire Knight was on there, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Gravitation (not shoujo but still) on there

Yeah, and they should have a host, that gives me an idea!!

On to SciFi's website!!

(Vic Mignogna sounding evil laugh)
(shifts to Steven Jay Blum sounding evil laugh)

At least Descendants of Darkness had some supernatural elements to it. You guys act like there wasn't even a hint of it. Sure, their decision to air the series is a little strange considering all the other options out there but regardless...

Gravitation is pure shounen-ai and centers basically around the relationship of the two main characters. There is no chance in hell it will ever air on scifi (especially since the show's backdrop is music and the rising of a band)
Vampire Knight is much more likely. I'd rather see that than Eureka 7 which has been played before on Adultswim more than once.

Rave Master on Sci Fi? Weak.

Their are so many better quality properties that they could acquire, that this action is just filled with fail.

I suspect that Tokyopop might be having more difficult cash-flow issues with the Bush-Depression economic environment. They probably sold the TV rights to Sci Fi/Universal for real cheap. (Which also suggests that Sci Fi is more concerned with cost than quality).

I wonder if we'll end up seeing Vampire Princess Miyu or any of the other Tokyopop Licenses.

I don't see how I was being confrontational. I didn't insult anyone personally, and I backed up my opinions. It's not like I just said "This sucks." I gave specific reasons why I didn't like the show. Honestly, looking back at my post I don't really see how I could make it any less confrontational than it is, other than making it shorter. But, if I made it shorter then I couldn't back up my opinions.

If it was a new dub it probably wouldn't be called Rave Master. The original title was Groove Adventure Rave, was it not? Why would a new dub use the same title as the old Americanized dub?

They should buy the rights to Toonami then move it to Saturdays, and have it compete with Adult Swim Saturdays. It would trounce it easily. XD
