Ani-Monday Feb. & Mar. Schedules (Gundam 00, Gurren Lagann, Rave Master & More)

Ooh, February 2nd will be a good night with 4 00 episodes.

But... Rave Master? Really?

Really?

That craziness aside, maybe I can actually catch Gurren Lagann this time around.

Hiro Mashima did finish the manga, in fact Rave Master (the manga) ended three years ago, if he didn't he wouldn't be working on Fairy Tail

The anime was indeed canceled after the 50th episode because the anime couldn't find the audience that the manga had. However, CN never aired the final two episodes of Rave Master at the same time.

Great
Well we know now, Shippuuden on Sci-fi isn't outta've the question.
Here's hoping this IS the Uncut Rave Master.

Yeah, the Toonami dubbed version wasn't so good.

Maybe it's a good thing that Gundam is taking a break. After all, they need time to dub season two.

It was written by Bob Bucholz, the same guy who gave lines about Pizza and cold water to a serious, non-joking evil charachter in digimon, and made jokes about boys holding hanRAB in the dark(which was actually bright daylight), and were nowhere near each other.

YOu could practically tell it was the same, with the facial expressions not matching the lines and stuff. I hope it is uncut.

The odRAB aren't too high on hearing "The Power of Destiny" again, is it?

What? It was kinda catchy. And the opening was awesome, too.

And ironically, this is the same guy who played Gene Starwind in Outlaw Star and the title character of ZENKI

Honestly Bob Buchholz is a better actor than a writer

Here's a show that would fit in well on Ani-Monday, Saber Marionette (licensed by Bandai and Media Blasters), but then again you have to have a warped sense of humour to enjoy the works of Satoru Akahori, so it would fail on TV

I do admit although the dub was terrible and had terrible editing, terrible music, and terrible scripting, the dub had good voices (i.e. Crispin Freeman and Yuri Lowenthal), and the dub opening was actually one of the most hilarious songs I've ever heard!!

While I'm one of the few people that does not hate the dub of Rave Master I still think it will be horribly out of place on Animunday. Nice to see Gurren Lagann reruns though.

Hey, maybe Renton was trying to warn us about how bad the show was. He was trying to tell us "This sucks! Don't watch it!" The show really gave us exactly what it promised.

Renton becoming a man? Pffft. He's in love with Eureka for 50 episodes and he never gets more than a kiss. He's the same wussy little boy he was at the beginning of the series. And when you have 40 episodes of horribly unlikeable characters you can't suddenly have them change within the last few episodes and expect the audience to give a damn. And what about all the other useless and or unlikeable characters? Like Stoner, the guy who looks even more stoned than stoner, the guy who never opens his eyes, the black guy, and the muscular chick. None of these characters serve any purpose and the creators don't even have the good sense to kill any of them off. And the worst characters of all are those three bratty kiRAB. Why oh why couldn't the creators have mercy and kill those brats off?

Then why not air Death Note or Code Geass instead? Hell, even Moribito would probably be better than Eureka 7. Eureka 7 was one of the worst shows that Adult Swim ever aired. Horrible character designs, unlikeable characters, Eva rip-off mechas, incredibly slow pace, and horrible plots.

No, it doesn't. It has a few good mecha fights, but they almost never amount to anything. Whenever a major character gets his mecha blown up they just cop out and have him survive. To make a show about war where no one dies(except for Charles and Ray) is utterly ridiculous.

Adventure? You mean those episodes at the beginning of the series where they played pranks on Renton or that long span of episodes they spent in a cave? You know have I ever emphasized how utterly braindead the idea of a bunch of stoners winning a war is?

Grey's Anatomy has more realistic romances than Eureka 7.
