Angry Tmobile Customer

I know a lot of you have read about my 7290 losing signal and my purchase of the 7100t that a few minutes ago lost network signal. The same thing can't be wrong with two different devices. It's got to be tmobiles network though they say there is nothing wrong and I only lose the signal with the blackberry phones. Even when I travelled 11 miles from the house I still lose signal with the blackberry phones even with someone elses Sim Card signal is lost. Tmobile has really disappointed me I just renewed a 2 year contract, and I'm not happy! They assured me it was my device and could not be their network! The signal by my house is so weak we're next to a park! But they said that wouldn't affect my signal. I used to be a SPrint PCS Tier 1 TEch and I know trees and obstructions can affect the signal from a tower. I'm a blackberry addict and I won't go back to plain old cell phones. Has anybody ever experienced anything like this with the tmobile network or any network? Any suggestions? Out of patience and MONEY!

Have you tried one of those signal enhancers? Let me find the post I recently saw about it. Maybe it could help you if it is the signal being too weak.

I used to have fits with all 3 of my T-Mobile Sidekicks which is why I got rid of them. I had 2 just up and lose signal completely and never came back. I got tired of the 3 dot dancing game real quick.

yea i just posted about my bb 7290 kept saying searching for network....BOOO!!!!!

Thanks a lot for the link. The pics are great but I can't really tell where the antenna is on the 7290 or the 7100 the parts aren't labelled. I'm gonna get 2 of those antenna signal booster that you put inside the device by the battery or wherever and see what happens.

Well I took Hydn's advice and just now installed one of the signal boosters. I paid 10 bucks just to see if it works from one of the local cell phone stores. If it does I'm going to use the link in that post to get a handful of em. I will keep you posted!

My gf also went thru 3 T-Mobile Sidekicks before she gave up. She now has a Razr, which has been better, but she still sometimes has network issues. Last Thanksgiving we went to visit her parents in Florida (Gulf Coast, about 2 hours north of Tampa) and she lost her signal just about the time we crossed the state line from GA. Her signal strength was marginal to nonexistent the whole time we were down there. At the time I had a Nextel I90c (before I got my 7000i) and I never had any problem with my signal. After reading various ratings of wireless companies, I had been thinking of switching over to T-Mobile so we could get a plan together and save some money, but after her experiences, I wouldn't even consider it. By the way, we live between Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD, so it isn't just a Midwest thing, I don't care what the ratings say!
