I just rescued an abused, matted angora. He stayed in a rabbit hutch outside, and the boy would yank his fur out through the hutch bars. I named him Charmin 
Before I shaved Charmin bedding kept getting stuck in his fur! I use aspen wood chips. It would stick in his fur and made a mess everywhere! What other bedding can I use that will not stick? Will carefresh stick to his fur?
and I have noticed that a lot of people shave angora rabbits. Is that something I have to do? I love the long hair and can commit to daily brushing. I would prefer Charmin to have as long of a coat as possible.
What brush do you use when his hair starts to grow out?

Charmin is a house rabbit. He will eventually have run of over half the house. He will be neutered. So no babies... or wired floor cages.
