Better lucky than good. Maybe being good is lucky though. Glad to hear that you are on the road to recovery. Nothing like I close call to remind us of how much fun we have riding. It was a major factor in my wreck recovery. Now I enjoy riding every day I can. A great, supportive, and helpful partner in life IS a great treasure. If you got a lot of time, ask me how I KNOW.

Congratulations on your survival. Hopefully we both can make the most out of our second chance.
 
I had a stent at 46 made me feel like a new man to get the blood flowing again. Sticker even pecked out a little bigger and better. Did the meds and got off them in 2 years. Life was good. Still drank and smoked nothing hardcore. Didnt bother to exercise as I work outside and ride.

At 52 it hit the fan had to have a quad by pass. Expected to feel really good afterward again but not so/ That quad really took it out of me.

Moral do it once and change what ever caused the problem
 
Welcome to life part II. Keep up the healthy habits, if they ever have to go inside and youre lucky enough to survive, although the surgery is successful it will take a toll where you wont be the same. You truely had a wake up call. Congrats.
AVR here in 11-06 still going (oink oink).
 
i'm coming up on two years since a heart attack, and the angioplasty/stent sure beats the alternative. even if i put a knobby tire on the back of my streetglide, i doubt it could dig itself and me out of a grave.
 
thank u all for concerns its really appreciated i showed my wife all that has responded and she says thanks to all of u she wants to meet all of u.
