Angels and Demons

It's worth a watch
I really enjoyed it cos I believe I'm the only person on the planet that hasnt read that or the Da Vinci Code. :D
Hubby read them both and said the films were a bit "Meh" whereas I was impressed.
Good fluff, enjoyable to watch and imo, Tom Hanks is easy on the eye too :D:o :)

It's already on Anytime. Don't hold out much hope for it, seeing as the first one varied between dull and risible, but then I can only be pleasantly surprised if it turns out okay. And Hanks is always watchable.

That's like me and my other half. I've read the books and thought the films were watchable but not great wheras he loved both films and fell asleep after the 7th page of Da Vinci lol

I like it. It beats the new Indiana Jones, thats for sure.

Not read the books, as above, could'nt get past the first couple of chapters.

Saw it in the cinema, whereupon it was the most utterly preposterous pile of tosh that had ever unfolded before my eyes in that environment. I enjoyed every minute of it :)

I enjoyed it the first time round and after rewatching it tonight enjoyed it again, liked The Da Vinci Code and looking forward to the 3rd installment 'The Lost Symbol' when it's released circa 2012.

I watched it the other night, I really enjoyed it.

A couple of things bothered me though, Hanks was sometimes talking really fast and i couldnt keep up and understand some stuff because i was getting left behind, and a few other actors were mumbling there lines and again i couldnt understand what they were saying so i was losing some sub plot.

On the whole though i pretty much enjoyed it.

8/10

Unless they make some serious changes to alot of what happens in the book then people will be throwing rotten tomatoes at the screen.

The book was good up to a point but the science in it and the ending was absolute rubbish. Just when you thought it had ended they kept on and on and on explaining the biggest load of guff that I was slowly losing the will to live. It had cliche after cliche, twists that were obvious from the beginning and really patronising dialogue. I closed the book and thought 'I read this in 3 days for that pay off, not happy!'. It's his worst book by far and follows his usual formula which is getting tiresome now. Rant over! lol

They should make his book 'Digital Fortress' into a film. I really enjoyed that one.
