Android with the biggest keypad

Hi Everybody,

This may be a silly question... but which Android has the biggest keypad? As far as my "research" indicates, the G1 does. Is this true? Am I missing something?

If you are talking about how many rows it would be the G1 with a 5 row keyboard.

...but if you're talking about the size of the keys, it would be the Droid/Milestone.

The keys of the droid milestone are still smaller than those of the G1. I physically compared them in the shop.... so the G1 is the largest?

I was hoping there may be a newer model with an equivalent keypad..

G1's keyboard is the best. i can touch type on it quite easily. and having a dedicated #'s row is the BEST.

Do you know which networks support this phone? I know T-Mobile does, but heard it's not the best of networks...

You can unlock it and run on at&t edge network.

Forgive me if this is basic (I'm very new to this forum) - but won't I then lose some functionality that the AT&T network offers?

yes you will lose the 3G function from at&t. you will only be able to run on edge, which is much slower than 3g.

I think in this case I'd rather then use T-Mobile... won't that be better?
