the recoveries in my phones, amon ra recovery and clockwork recovery, you dont have to rename the files to update.zip. theyll flash any proper zip. if your recovery has a flash any zip option, you dont have to rename it.

anyways, when i do need to rename a file, i use astro file manager right from my phone.

yeah i had clockwork recovery on my too like rom manger right > ? i had that but do i but it in a zip folder or a regular one and where anywhere on my sd card because im using my blackberry to my my sdcard in there and put the thing like that and put back to my android

i dont use rom manager. i just put them wherever i download them on my sd card, boot into recovery, then flash it from whichever folder i put it in. rom manager is too bothersome for me, lol. plus it has its own issues.

dont put it in any folder or the phone wont see it.

I know there like 4 paarts of this mod so i put it all in my folder and put the folder into the cd card is that good >? and named it update.zip
