android phone: PICTURE MESSAGING?

i sent a couple pictures from my android (metro pcs) phone to my yahoo email, & tha pictures were reaallllllly little ! how do i make them bigger so when i send them they are regular size? tha settings on my phone say "picture size" & when i click on it, its on tha largest size... helpp??
