Android OS?

How awesome do you think it will be if Google produces an Operating System based on Android? Like android 4.0 for pc's

My opinion is that if Google was planning to insert them selfs in the OS market and fight against mac and windows, the android is the best way to go.

Do you think it would be cool?
Would you get it for you main computer?
How fictional or reality do you think this idea is?

Android is built upon linux java and c++ but is not the same thing

I believe that's CromeOS. Google has been working on it for a while and it was supposed to come out this summer (I think). Too bad it's been delayed yet again.

Google Hexxeh Crome OS and you'll find some builds you can root to your computer if you want.
