My friends Android flashes green by default and then sometimes it flashes blue right away..anyone know what that could be??

hmmm. Mine does that too but it flashes green for when i have a knew notification like, a missed call, new text, e-mail, update etc.
when it flashes blue it's because i get a new instant message from like facebook chat, or aim using a special application called eBuddy that i downloaded off the app store.
so if she has any "chatting" application chances are its from that.
