Android: Is Google Voice Actions before the time???

Hey guys....

Google Voice actions is a ?cool? new feature for Android (Froyo 2.2). With this new feature you are able to tell your phone what to do, with just your voice.

BUT is it not ahead of time????

I have been using Vlingo for a long time now and I use it for nearly everything. I think it has been needed now for a long time. So nice to talk your texts, emails, etc.

Well I use voice search pretty often with a majority success, am I ready to use this exclusively? No, since I have to touch a button to start it I'm already at the keyboard and somethings I can do Just as quickly as speaking it... but that being said the technology has to start somewhere why not android!

I disagree, people that say er, or uhh a lot need to learn how to speak. Lol. The phone knows swearing, it knows lol. And a few other things I didn't expect. Yes it can't talk lingo yet. But for now its a great start and i love using the feature. This entire post was done in 1 try after the er, and uhh.

Lol. Oh and it struggles with accents, but more language acceptance is coming I'm sure

People who have accent problem or who are not able to talk like a native speaker would have a tough time speaking to the phone!
