Android hardware with the best battery life?

Which of the Android smartphones, available now have the best battery life?

Price doesn't matter.. The more advanced hardware is, the better...

And how long is that "best" battery life??

to be honest, no smartphone has very good battery life. i guess it'll depend on how heavily you use your phone to gauge just how bad it is. however, you can replace batteries on all android phones, so you can buy a spare, and whenever you're on a road trip or something, just put it in a purse (if you're a girl) or a friend/girlfriend's purse (if you're a guy... unless you're a guy that likes carrying purses ), and just pop it in when you need to. also, i've heard that there are some third party companies that make better batteries. i haven't used any, but you could always try this out.

Yeah it all depends on usuage really. Not to mention what apps you have running. I'd say a day to day and a half of moderate usuage is pretty standard on all newer phones.

as for a specific model with best battery. I'm not sure i've ever seen any real life comparisons.
 
Exactly... The HTC Desire, for example, has 360 hours (that's 15 days) of standby time according to the official specs.

I'd get a day at most out of it with moderate use.

I did a comparison of Google Navigation against a dedicated Sat Nav recently on my blog, and noted that it used 2% of my battery every minute. So, for arguments sake, lets say you could get anywhere between an hour to two weeks out of your Android phone, depending how you use it.
 
My Nexus One lasted 2 days this last time. I am rooted and running a slightly undervolrted kernel. It was kind of light use 1 hour on phone, several texts, updated 6 or 7 apps and browsed the web a little.
 
First welcome to AC forum and second like most of my friend post already the newest models the longer the battery the one that last more difficult to tell but extorian explan that htc have some interesting data about the desire battery life.

I think of getting EVO4g, but, guess, no info on its battr-life, yet.

If you switch off so much that your phone becomes nothing more than a very expensive calculator with a nice screen you might get 3.

Most people charge their phones every night when they go to bed. That way it's fully charged for the next day. Everyone sleeps for longer than the battery takes to charge every night, so it doesn't need to last longer than a day.
 
I've heard that the evo has the worst battery life of any smartphone due to the drain 4g puts on it. I would still get it though.
 
So what you're saying, in short, is you're OK with the thought of owning the highes spec Android phone currently available.

See, for a minute I thought you were going to say something like "Nah - I'd rather have an iPhone".

If only the Evo was GSM
