Google Talk on my Droid Eris keeps automatically closing within 10 sec of when I open the app. When I reopen it, it says it's signing in. When my contacts come back up, it boots me out again after another 10 sec. Any ideas or help?
 
Sounds like your gtalk app is corrupt somehow, I think to get it sorted you'll most probably need to do a factory reset .

However , you could always use a workaround by using a 3rd party app off the market like meebo or nimbuzz, both free by the way. Now you could talk on your google account along with others if you have any such as MSN , yahoo etc
