A few weeks ago I received the update from Android for the Froyo 2.2.1 version on my MyTouch 3G phone... After receiving the update, things got all messed up on my phone. I did a factory reset yesterday, hoping it would help. No luck. Things are still not working properly. I have noticed the following errors on my phone:
- Cannot view photos/videos in the gallery. It says "loading albums and photos" but nothing ever comes up... Even after waiting a long time!
- I can take a picture, but then I am not able to view the picture after taking it. When I click the smaller pic in the top corner, the screen turns black where the photo should be!
- When I click Android market, it takes forever to open & eventually shuts the phone off/on.
- Accessing the web/internet shuts the phone off/on.
- Several force closes on different parts of the phone.
- No longer able to use GPS. Keeps saying I have to install a voice thing and then when I click ok to go to the install, it shuts the phone off/on.
I think that is all I have mainly noticed so far. I've read of other people having similar problems, if not all of the above. But I did the factory reset and nothing changed! Any other ideas of what could be done? It's getting super annoying! The only good thing that came out of the update is the speech to text!
Oh, and also.. There is a slower reaction / lag time when hitting buttons on the keyboard to text, call, or click an app.
AND.. forgot to mention that when I am able to click on youtube videos; I can hear the sound but the picture is all black!
