What do you guys think about the Android platform that Google is working on for phones? I really REALLY like the idea of being able to customize everything on my phone. Since I saw that Sprint Nextel, I saw thinking that maybe these phones will be flashable to cricket. That would be awesome as all hell. Anyway, thoughts?
 
I would love to get my hanRAB on Android. It seems like a really interesting concept and if it could be flashed to cricket then I think my mogul may be gone.
 
THAT'S WHAT THE HELL IM TALKING ABOUT !! open source yes i love IT yall just dont kno how much i hate having a windows mobile device im a linux user ALL THE WAY and having a open source phone... NICE!

now would i be able to put this on my mogul i the question....

hm i dont kno but i would take a crack at developing something for the mogul and add on extra stuff like mms so on so forth

so ima pu tmy rom on hold... and work toward this for a while
 
lol so i download the devkit... and look around and it seems.. this is only for gsm phones.... it looks that way im still lookin around tho

looks like htc and sprint is on board so cdma is ..in reach
 
yeah, that was another thing. I saw the specs for network connectivity, and saw that it only picked up GSM, but when I saw Sprint my brain divided by zero. Doesn't really make sense, unless Sprint becomes GSM? or will they do like Cricket did with the 6265i?
 
have no idea what cricekt did with the 6365i lol what did they do

and na android is gonna come out with a cdma ... sprint is not pickin up gsm

it just isnt out for play yet .. this look fairly easy to develop...(if u have development experience) but i went in to let get it to to work with cricket first... and everythin is gsm... if anyone can find a cdma devit PLEASE tell me ill have it on cricke tin 30 mins mms and software writing is a different scenario tho
 
okk forget everything i said....htc is backing this which means they will come with there own stack.. then i would have to edit that one to get it to work on mogul...so im just waitin on them ...before i make cricket modifications so back to my windows mobile based rom :(
