Android 2.3 NFC API and Open NFC API - Differences

Hi All,

I have few queries on Android 2.3 NFC API and Open NFC API

- Is Android 2.3 NFC API same as Open NFC API

- Do I need to have any NFC stack on Android 2.3 platform (phones like Google Nexus S) for NFC applications development

- Which all NFC hardware will Android 2.3 NFC will work. Do we need develop any additional modules for applications to work on Android 2.3 using NFC API ?

- Will Android 2.3 NFC API works with NXP hardware PN544 reader ? Do we need to develop any additional software ?

- Can we have Open NFC API on Android 2.3 platform (e.g Samsung Phones)

- Can NFC API works with Samsung Galaxy S phone with NXP,etc hardware connected ?

It will be appreciated for more details at the earliest.
